AIRBRUSHING
Introduced in the 60’s, airbrushing is now the
most popular form of board decoration – ahead
of resin based tints, opaques and pinlines. Airbrushing
is usually done directly on to the board’s polyurethane
foam core, prior to fiberglassing. To add dimension,
sharpness and luster to a graphic design, airbrushing
can be applied in between the sanding coat of resin
and the gloss coat. Airbrushing allows more vivid colors,
fading and blending effects while adding virtually no
weight to the board. Using some of the finest artists
in the industry, eden surfboards designs range from
clean and simple to wildly extravagant. Eden surfboards
are sold with eden’s own designs or can be personalized
for each customer.
